2degrees acquires UFB pioneer Snap

Today mobile carrier 2degrees have confirmed a long running rumour – and have announced an agreement to acquire Christchurch headquartered Snap.

Snap were one of the earlier Internet Server Providers (aka Retail Service Providers) to offer Ultra-Fast Broadband services in the New Zealand market.

The process of merging the two entities is expected to take some 3-4 month to complete and for the merge to be delivering noticeable benefits to customers.
